Sig is a great brand name. I love my P-226. But how about some real specs. Is this a piston driven gas system? I was curious about the twist rate on the barrel also how long is the barrel? 16" or 18"? What caliber is it chambered for exactly? SAAMI spec, mil-spec, wylde chambering? Either way -I wouldn't mind having that piece in my arsenal but I'd change that crappy grip with a Magpul MIAD pistol grip and the Magpul M93b stock (maybe even a Magpul enhanced trigger guard). Of course all in black. But that's just me. Once I have enough posts up I'll post some pictures of my rifles. *REAL* pics I took. Not pics taken from websites that I see posted so often.

Ok so it's a 1:7 twist 16" barrel with a mil-spec chamber. -Sweet. What grain bullet/bullet types do you plan on shooting down that barrel?Comment

Do you really live in Hawaii? If so how did you manage to get this 30 round clip? According to BATF regulations it's a big no no. But at least Hawaii has better firearm laws than CA (for firearm collectors anyway).
One last note, I think gun control is retarded. It just keeps law abiding citizens from having access to protection. It's not like these laws prevent criminals from getting a firearm. -They get the guns off the streets anyway so these laws don't even apply to them!Comment

Yeah I live in Hawaii, legally the gun shop can only give me a 10 round mag when I bought the gun, but I can buy a 30 round mag after the fact, which is what I did. Also you can own a clip that holds any number of rounds, just state law says that you're only allowed to have a maximum of 10 rounds in the gun.

-Hey, you never mentioned what sort of bullets you plan on using with that SIG 556. Since you have a mil-spec barrel you have the option to use mil-spec or SAAMI spec ammo but what do you prefer for match & plinking?

What the hell are you going to do with the bayonet attached? Sure it looks cool but it's rather pointless. Are you going to the shooting range with the bayonet at the end of your firearm? The range master might have a problem with that. Even if you're shooting on your own property. I say forget the bayonets and just purchase a decent SOG knife. Hey Shoehorn! You still haven't mentioned what type of rounds (bullet type & weight) you plan on shooting down that 16" barrel with 1:7 twist ratio.Comment
