                      Due process for what? Taking up arms against the nation and planning terrorist attacks as part of an ongoing war is not a criminal matter. Of course, I can see where such obvious facts escape those who are suffer from paranoid delusions.

                              Ever heard of a slippery slope?

                              Laws like the NDAA start off as innocent things like "We will detain people without trial who are involved in terrorism," but later on down the line they will be locking people up for simply speaking their mind about the government.

I understand striking at known terrorists but it does seem way off the chart for the President to authorize a strike on a US citizen regardless of what he has done. Innocent until proven guilty is a pretty big thing, and one that I do not like haven taken away.

If the US military arrests you in a foreign country, you have zero rights as an American Citizen. US Law does not apply in Afghanistan or Yemen.

                                                                                                                                                                                              They're legal hedge is that the attack can be made under the assumption that the "target" is an imminent threat to the US.
                                                                                                                                                                                              It does not have to be a call made by the president. It can be made by any high ranking member of government whatever that means.
                                                                                                                                                                                              They do not have to have any proof of the targets threats, of how, when, why the target may or may not propose a risk.
