How Do I Know You Are a Legitimate Company?
We aren't a 'legitimate' company! 'Legitimate' companies like Paypal, Liberty Reserve or the former ePassporte will STEAL YOUR MONEY.
We operate outside the world financial system, which is owned and controlled by the dominant US banks and credit card companies. That makes us 'illegitimate' in the mainstream.
How Do I Know You Won't Steal My Money?
Well, you don't. Logically, however, we make a lot more money by charging transaction fees than we do by ripping off a few smalltime users and then suffering from a bad reputation. On the internet, reputation is everything, and we want to build a robust e-currency which will dethrone Liberty Reserve and compete with Paypal, at least for a certain market share. Ripping you off does not help us accomplish such goals.
