First off did you even look at the page in question? If you did, you would notice that the bulk of these accidents happened right here in the US of A. No where did I mention that the one accident happened in the USA, but rather I said it was likely one of the worst and used it as example of why we need the EPA and govt regulations.
Second off, when was it ever a wise choice to "wait" until something bad happened in your country before deciding that hey maybe we should fix that because we do the same thing they did. I'm sorry I made a mistake of taking the liberty to assume people could have enough "common sense" to realize that the second was just an example of a bad accident..
It's called learning by example.. Meaning it only takes the slightest bit of common sense, (
something that 12clicks doesn't have) to understand that we can use examples from other countries, so we don't create the same mistakes out of pure ignorance.
Also, I'm not pro govt with out conditions. I'm pro having clean water to drink, fresh air and pro not having horse meat in my hamburgers.. but of hey that's another needed govt origination.. Of fuck the Federalist I am.. I mean holy hell.. I kinda expect a lot I guess..
