Was out with some friends and this guy looked at his cell and said he didn't know who it was so he didn't answer it. I assume he is cheating on the girl he was with as how the hell would you know everyone who calls your cell? It struck me as really weird, after I thought about it.

i dont answer my personal cell phone unless i know who it is either, they can always leave me a message if they care enough to talk to me, but then i never check my voicemails either.
why would someone i dont know be calling me and why would i want to talk to them?

so if some of your friends change their number, then they need to notify you by registered mail first that they did it, so that you can update their number in your phone ?I don't use ICQ anymore.Comment

i look at it this way - someone calls me, he wants to talk
but i also put my cell phone when signing up to affiliate programs etc, they never call (thanks God) but still i know that when someone calls me, it can be something important, even if i dont recognize the number

I'm one of those people..........most of the time the numbers I don't know are from telemarketers who try to get me to refinance the home I don't yet have (^_^), but when I do answer the call for them is because I'm just bored out of my mind and want to have some fun.......

I never answer unless i recognize the number. If the person really wants to get a hold of me they can leave a message. 95% of the time numbers i don't recognize are just telemarkers anyways. I get them calling several times per day at least. Its very annoying.you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..Comment

Around here people leave messages when they want something...

I don't like cell phones. If im not home, which i am most of the day people can wait to get in contact with me. If i had people bugging me all day i don't see how i could get anything done and it would annoy the piss out of me. work phone number during business hours gets answered no matter what .. after work hours .. 90% blocked calls go directly to message unless it is expected .. those who need to reach me after hours have access to the "Bat Phone" which always gets answered ..No sig .. just meComment

I don't answer the house phone or the cell unless I know who it is, and lots of times I won't answer it if I do know.
Talking on the phone isn't something I really enjoy. I have been known to return calls when I know full well the person can't take them, that way I can leave a message, and be off the hook in terms of keeping in touch.~
