If 911 got as many calls at one time as TMP gets in the first hour, it would probably give you a busy signal as well. I was getting busy circuits as frequently as I got a busy signal. That has NOTHING to do with TMP or their phone system.

I'm not talking about getting a busy signal straight off. The hotel answers, asks what you need. You say reservations and then they forward you to a busy line. Hang up and repeat a hundred times if you really want to try to get a room. Comcast in Chicago handles many more calls constantly than TMP handles during that one period, but they are able to put me in a queue where I wait. I'm willing to wait an hour if that's the demand, but the clown show of talking to the same receptionist every minute only to be transferred to a busy line is a joke.
