REAL ID drivers license wont stop SHIT!! (What a bouncer knows)
What I learned working as a bouncer in a bar that was "hell-bent" on keeping out minors:
There is no such thing as an ID that cannot be faked or forged!
The bar trained bouncers on fake ID's and would not give them full bouncer status until they could identify fake IDs. We had books with every current ID and passport from any country that people could travel to the US from.
The bar paid bounus to bouncers based on the number of fake IDs confiscated.
So we were aggressive as hell on IDs because a good night might earn you an extra $100.
90 percent of the fake IDs I caught were caught thru "Bluffing" :
The person looked under age and I basically got them to admit the ID was fake by scrutinizing the ID then telling them to wait on the side and saying
I needed to show their ID to a manager. At that point many of them ran away while I had the ID in my hand. Others stayed and started asking if they were in serious trouble. I'd say, well if you tell me it's fake then you can just leave and I'll keep the ID or you can wait for the cops and I will give the ID to them and they will handle it from there. Then the would say,
ok it's fake and can I go now.
We studied those "bluffed" IDs and no way could we determine they were faked. Kids were paying up to $1500 for a fake drinking ID.
MY POINT:
It was our technique that stoped the fake ID 90% of the time and not the quality of the ID itself.
The better the ID, the better the fakes!
The more info on a national ID = the more you'll get fucked by a theif when you lose your wallet.
And not even one sinlge more criminal will be caugt then are being caught already.
