Is strongbox still going? Ray dropped off the radar, and so did my biz with him. Shame, strongbox was/is great, backups were great. Not sure what happened.

I wonder if the guy gets too consumed in some of his projects. He bitched on here 8-12 months ago about not making "lots of money." I think he put Brad Mitchell in the thread title. Brad responded to the thread and offered to chat/talk with him (don't feel like hunting the thread down.

I didn't think of it then but I should have told him to stop managing open source projects and focus on monetary gain if that's your goal.
My memory is fairly strong, and I recall him on other forums writing about some of the things he does. He made mention of reading over 100k+ tech and code documents.
Don't get me wrong, maintaining projects and code can bring prestige and skill, but there is a limit.

I've got my own priority issues. With a few exceptions, anyone on this forum that posts much beyond an average of 2-3 posts a day probably has more productive things they could be doing.

Seems like a good guy, hopefully he gets his wishes

What about Password Sentry? Pair it with the PHP Auth Plugin and that was a pretty stong box, IMO.

I didn't realize he disappeared... thought he just rolled out his newest version of Strongbox a few months ago.

I (Ray) am a) not spending my days on GFY like I used to and b) am letting Ali, Elias, and soon Chris handle virtually all of the customer support so I can focus on R&D and some larger things. We're still here, just not a one man shop anymore.
