I agree it's a silly policy. This is analogous to a Mercedes dealership being prohibited from mentioning the Mercedes brand in advertising or a sales pitch. Instead they're only being allowed to say "buy this car", when trying to convince potential customers to spend $50k-100k. Sorry, but legitimate authorized sales representatives (i.e. affiliates) promoting the respective brand's products is NOT a case of trademark dilution.
