The correct position is to keep arafat, if you hold an election now palestines president will be some hamas member. Give the palestinians a state and westernize it. It will give hope to alot of palestinians and the extremist will have alot harder recruiting people. We fought to gain our independence here in America wiith a long & bloody revolutionary war.
We utilized guerrila tactics, & new technology in rifle's to defeat our enemies. But we only killed our enemies, we never tried to kill innocent people.
Now heres the palestinians, the closest they can come to fighting for their independence is sending a man into a super market with a bomb strapped to his back.

Almost all of where Israel now sits is urban or suburban. Skirmishing out in the woods is just not practical.
As far as killing innocents...I am appalled by this. But you have to remember that every Jew who has emigrated to Israel lives on
Palestinian land and at the expense of the Palestinian people.
They are as legitimate a target as workers killed in bombing raids in WWII.

How come Israel is allowed to ignore UN resolutions? Are they above the law or is it that some are more equal than others?
Now that the USA is in full control of the Gulf Oil, virtually occupying those countries, why does it still need Israel to safe-guard its interests in the area? If the Americans love the Israelis so much why don?t they take them all and give them a state, and take care of them? It will certainly cost the American tax payer much less. Give them a bit of desert they say they can make it bloom!

It is my opinion that at some point in time an intervening military force is going to have to be deployed to step between the two sides to bring an eventual end to the killing that both sides are involved in.
