When will they stop selling laptops with Windows 7?

My current laptop is 4 years old and getting a little on the slow side. I will need to buy a new one this year.
I *hate* windows 8 on a work computer (its great for a tablet but shit on a work computer).

Right now you can still buy a windows 7 machine on most websites like Amazon, TigerTDirect, newegg, etc.
Anyone know when this will stop?

I'd like to wait until say October before I buy but if Winddows7 is going to be phased out in the next few months then I should buy now.

The thing with those laptops that still have Windows 7, they are old. Buy yourself a copy of Windows 7 Pro OEM on newegg for 139 and a new laptop. Problem solved.
Reliable web host that actually cares, tell em geedub sent ya. Vacares

I purchased a new laptop and it had windows 7.

It is absolute shit as an operating system.

Since the actual laptop was a decent computer. I went to a technician, paid 50$ and had him remove windows 7 and install XP.

I refuse to do the endless upgrade game just to impress some no life geeks. I use old business practices and that is unless there is more profit to be made by embracing the new systems... Leave the old system in place.

Thankfully microsoft does not make automobiles because with each new release I would have to go looking for the steering wheel.
officially retired as of March 01 2018 but still fucking around and getting into shit.
