they dont use wing chun because 99% cant fight in close quarter combat an lack the sensitivity to fight in that range..

I train 4 hours a day 6 days a week. I love to train multiple styles, with multiple teachers and I'm always interested in learning something new.
Someone asks you to train and you get all defensive and start making weak comments about having a life etc etc.
You call yourself a martial artist? I've never met ANYONE skilled in any martial art with that kind of attitude. Sounds more like you're a joke than anything else..Comment

Did I read correctly, are you a Wing Chung practitioner? I studied in Vancouver for a few years (Yip Man style).
The guys I studied with were hardcore, we trained at about 70% , the master would come behind us during drills & check your stance by kicking between your legs. Bad stance = a kick in the balls. Broken bones & noses about every other class. During a chi-sau drill one day, until I got my elbow snapped. That put me out for about 6 months.
I'm fully recovered now , & I'd be down for light sparring ... I'll be at the Phoenix show.Theers no more money in porn - I got the last of it.Comment

Often you will come across students of a martial art that practice to go along with their opponent rather then fighting certain actions; and when a throwing action is perceived as being the next action, such often spawns bad habits like over extensions that can cause some students as to lose their balance and or footing to the extent that a controlled fall can often ocurre without any noticeable or logical reason and often the "thrower" is seen to have "special" skills... what is even worse is that some teachers and or practitioners let such go their heads and shoot off their mouths and end up getting owned!
I have "thrown" individuals, but again I have thrown myself in practice and have actual experience with this kind of effect. Aikido extends their opponents as to exploit such actions for controlling reasons. This is not magic and it is worth mentioning that Aikido is not the only art that experiences similar effects.
