You Know Anyone Who Is Constantly In & Out Of Jail?

So I just found out a friend of mine was arrested for a DUI and driving without a license and is now, back in jail for 9 months.

This guy actually seems to have his shit together (when he puts his mind to it) but honestly, I've known him for close to 10 years now and I would say every years he ends up in jail at least twice, only for a few days to a week, for stupid shit.

The kicker, his family is in law enforcement, father, both brothers so I would have figured that he would try to 'behave' when it came to shit like this.

Anyone else know someone like this?

The guy could do so much with his life if he actually tried to focus on something, other than trying to get his dick wet and having fun.

Sounds like he's most likely a functional alcoholic, meaning he can appear to have his shit together, but in private he's a mess. I'm guessing since he was sentenced to 9 months for a DUI, this most likely is at least his 3rd offense. Hopefully 9 months will help straighten out whatever his issues are.

I was in and out of jail thru my teens. 6 months here, a year there. Probation. Then finally sentenced to 4 years in prison at 19. I been scared straight since

A guy I was good friends with in high school turned out to be one of those guys. His problem is booze and when he drinks he get violent so he fights the cops, hits his girlfriends etc. He has been arrested well over a dozen times and has spent time in jail 3-4 times in the last 10-12 years. He is always on probation. He will seem to get himself together to some degree then drink, get in a fight or do something stupid and violate the probation.

Weird, I have a buddy in Portland that used to do MMA fights that does the same thing, the MMA stuff actually seems to center him but then he'll have a few drinks and thinks he can fight with anyone he wants.

That being said, I saw him beat the living crap out of a marine a few years back, was interesting to watch and I was actually happy the cops broke it up cause one of the two of them would have ended up seriously injured, or worse had they not shown up and tazed them.

The guy I know was someone I went to high school with. In school he was a good dude, everyone liked him, he was from a good family and seemed to have a bright future in front of him.

Five years later he got arrested for getting drunk and beating some guy up at a bar. Normally you could just dismiss that as him being dumb and learning his lesson, but with this guy it seemed to start his downward spiral.
