It is euphoria.
In all seriousness about 9 months ago I got a wound on my leg that go infected. I had to have IV antibiotics, wound therapy etc. The doctors gave me Oxy for the pain.
90% of the time I didn't have much pain or it was something a couple of ibuprofen could handle. However sleeping was sometimes painful because I would rub the wound against the bed and the days after the wound care therapy sucked. Most times I could take 1 pill and be fine and have no side affects. Sometimes I would need 2 pills and it would give me a good buzz and a slight warm feeling. There were a few times I took 3 pills and it just caused me to fade away. No pain, no worries, full on opiate facial itching which felt orgasmic to scratch and a feeling that could only be described as euphoric. It was a little scary because you realize you are staring into the abyss and you can easily see how someone could lose themselves in this drug.
Luckily for me I just needed it for a few months and when I was done using it all was fine, but there are still days every now and then that I think about the feeling that it gave me. You got to be very careful with that stuff.Comment

It feels like nothing because it numbs you LOL, well at first it feels great but you will soon lose the euphoric feeling and keep taking it thinking you will get that feeling again but you will not. By then you will end up in the gutter doing porn to support your habit as some would sayOur site is coming soon. It will be one of the best ever! I know so. Brian and PennyComment

Hmm, that's different than the reaction I got when taking 2-3 for a sciatic condition I had a few years back. 2 pills helped dull the pain but I didn't get a head buzz. 3 made me a bit queasy for 5-10 mins. - but no euphoria other than a very mild lightheaded feeling. It is euphoria.

I wonder if it matters what type of pain you have. I could work differently for different situations. It may also have different affects on different people. The first time I took 2 pills it did make me a little queasy for a few minutes.Hmm, that's different than the reaction I got when taking 2-3 for a sciatic condition I had a few years back. 2 pills helped dull the pain but I didn't get a head buzz. 3 made me a bit queasy for 5-10 mins. - but no euphoria other than a very mild lightheaded feeling.Comment

When that shit first blew up. When it was introduced to the public and readily available to anyone saying they had pain. I watched a friend go through an addiction with it. This was my first friend in life. He would buy an 80 milligram pill for 80 dollars. he would then smoke it with the friend he bought it from. on tin foil and a pen.. like back alley crack heads.
each morning he would wake up and vomit violently. heard across the house. I never understood how it was worth it. Dude blew 800,000 in a year and a half.
I promptly left that living situation. My one and only trip to Alaska.Comment

Could be. The pain from the sciatic nerve was hovering between 9/10 & 10/10 when I'd be up to 3 pills. I only took 3 a few times, though. I'd heard too many stories about the risks and didn't want to take a shine to the stuff.Comment

No you won't be fine.. don't even try it! It WILL ruin your life dude. I've witnessed it 1st hand. Pills are the biggest scam out there. I've seen people paying $20 dollars a pill! And "TRYING" to get off them is a huge roller coaster. The withdrawals from those pills actually cause physical pain.Comment

For me the pain was short lived, but more of a burning pain. At times it was intense after the wound therapy because the nurse would scrape all the dead skin out of the open wound and it sucked. By the time the pain meds wore off the pain was normally back down to a normal level.Comment

Never had the balls to try..
But I have taken lortab and tried morphine pills once. The morphine I couldn't really feel a buzz, kind of like a valium.. But a couple of lortab got me stoned for sure.. Which is weird because you think morphine would have been stronger. It was 60mg.
For real pain patients, I think morphine would be the best.. More natural than the others.10 years of experience in:

What a strange question....
It feels like a small pill-shaped object, somewhat hard and chalky in consistency.
To help you understand what they feel like. Here is a picture.

So just imagine holding those. They look rather like an aspirin, right? They feel just like one also.
