God damn you people. If you can't appreciate THIS then there isn't anything that will make you happy. Besides myself (Lightspeed, and a few others), I've RARELY seen any company owner offer himself up for some personal consultation... and I can guarantee you that Ron's time is a ton more valuable then mine is.

...if you don't take him up on that offer it would just be foolish. No matter how long you've been in the game, there's always more to learn.

If any of these people actually bothered to check out the Cybererotica Webmaster Chat Board, ("Webmaster Chat" link on the stats pages) they'd see that that kind of help is always available from FM, Rowdy, Nancy, etc... to people promoting FM's programs.

Instead they'd rather come to third party boards to bitch and moan, instead of trying to actually solve the problem with people that can actually help.

One has to wonder why that is.

Toolz, you are right, you do have to signup a few times to get in the 'other' programs with them.

The only thing I dont like is the 'IGALLERY' style stats where you have to wait til the next day to see what you have sold.

It's been a while, but from what I remember, current day sales are shown in their somewhere. I think it's next to the letters that are used for tracking different banners and links.

                      The Dawg -

First of all IGALLERY purchased our High Rollers Software from us back in 1998 - that's why "their" stats look like "ours".

Second, our stats show realtime numbers, this has been this way since 1998. We show Raw hits and sign ups in realtime.

Finally, when you sign up for any one of our programs you are automatically signed up for "all" of our programs. This has been thisway for quite a while.

If you have any questions we'll be happy to answer them

Jealousy must be a mothafucker. It baffles me how people here post 1,000 times and they've instantly been around forever and know everything that ever went on. All because they were drinking free booze at a convention, that FM and some other big companies probably paid for, here some stories and embellish the shit out of them. Fm and CE are a stand up company for sure.

OK OK OK...FM we all know you innovated a lot of shit in your days. Lately though it is obvious you are looking at the latest trends and jumping on the bandwagon..

                                    FACTS
You may have invented the email program

If anybody comes out with a rewards system in our industry they GOT the idea from ARS.

If anybody comes out with multiple tours per site in a BIG program they got the idea from TopBucks.

If anybody comes out with Magazine looking sites in the 4Free game you got the idea from FreeEzineBucks.

If you come out with 4Free in the domain name with paysite tours in the 4free game you got the idea from Join4Free.

You keep spinning this to show how you invented everything. That is NOT the ISSUE here. The issue is how similary your mags program looks to our ezine program. Almost identical except the payouts.

I have no problem saying I started FreeEzineBucks based on Join4Free and 4FreeBucks model BUT the MAIN difference between what I did was I had a TOTALLY different site concept than them. They went with the full tour, I went with one page ezine looking sites.

The facts are you got the WHOLE CONCEPT of mags (in a magazine style JUST LIKE the ezines) proven by reg date of those domains in your program as: 03-21-2002 Also copying a WHOLE CONCEPT and raising payouts a bit does NOT constitute a program being unique.. If I opened AmateursWebs.com and laid my site out JUST like Lensman and opened a per click program and paid .02 higher but had the SAME concept and design style as AmateurPages, that would NOT make me UNIQUE. It is a copy but paying higher.

Your program looks nice and I wish you best of luck but stop spinning this thread to make like the MAGS is your OWN original idea. As Brujah stated in another thread you could have at least come up with a different concept of sites in the EMAIL game...As examples we are trying yearbook style sites, directory style sites and got a few more in development. They are DIFFERENT concepts but still in the email game. But being different concepts makes them UNIQUE.

BossHawg I can't help the fact that we have lead the way since the beginning. We didn't do it out of ego, we do it to stay on the cutting edge.

We have never bitched and moaned about folks knocking off our ideas. For instance, you Mag program is an absolute knock off of Riskymail, never once did we make a comment about you copying us. We learned a long time ago that anything that is successful will be copied within days of launch and we chose not to rag about it.

It seems that now when we do something close to somebody else, everyone complains, that's humorous.

Your FEB program is still nothing like our CEMag program for the simple reason that you offer one type of payout, $1 per email. Our CEMag program has the same model that Riskymail has had for over two years. That is that we pay $1.50 per confirmed email, $15 per upsell and 50% of all dialer revenue. For this reason I don't understand how you can compare the two programs other than that they both look like magazines. That is the only way they are the same, the payout and revenue models are completely different.

I have never had a problem with you and I'm glad you have had a great success with your FEB program, but the fact remains that our two programs are very different!! Our programs are not just email based, our sites have interactive members areas that change daily, yours do not. So I wish you continued luck with your programs, but let's not fight about it.

Should I be upset with everyone that has a paysite with an affiliate program, you see how ridiculous this would be? Let's all get along and continue to be friendly competitors, it's very healthy how our industry differs for any other I've ever seen!!

Maybe Ron can post the link to that Agent 69 flash cartoon? Besides being funnier than hell, it pretty much sums it up . Or at least it did a few months ago, but some things do change quick in this business ;)

I can't even keep up with all the new sites they have come out with. I wish they would do more with paid trial sites - I know they have them, but not as good a program as they used to be. I think they were concerned about the high rate of fraud on these programs.

I didn't even notice that they were paying $1.50 per email sign up until after I saw my stats go up. I thought it was a glitch or something. I am pretty happy now - as I have been sending ~ 200 signups a day

Personally, I have no idea what goes on behind the scenes, but I get the idea that FM is more concerned about being the most PROFITABLE vs. the BIGGEST.

                                                  Just my 2 cents...

payrollpete I guess you haven't been watching, we have over 60 paysites now, soon to be over 300 paysites. Each one of these paysites is a stand alone site, not just a front end. Each has an interactive member's area which has lead to member stickiness. I don't see anyone else out there doing this.

Our email programs and CEMag programs also have this feature.

We're also working on many new projects, one being http://www.cyberfriends.tv/ this is a new personals/dating program that we are beta testing right now. We have not developed the Webmaster program for yet but we do have it "patent pending". It has what we call a personal communicator which allows live chat, voice chat and many other features that have not been done by anyone else yet. You see we're learning, going forward we will not break any new technology until we have filed for patents, that way nobody will be able to copy us unless they get a license from us. I highly recommend that anyone with new products do the same. Had we filed for patents from the very beginning I would be on an island somewhere now.

There are about five other projects that we are in the process of filing for patents that you will hear about as soon as we are "patent pending".

Hope this explains why you haven't seen any spectacular new projects

I was simply saying I was catching wind of "copy accusations" on another board homie. I dont push either one of the "for a dollar" programs, never have so honestly I dont really know about them. Again, I wasnt saying you were copying man, I was saying these accusations are elsewhere as well.

The owner of that program is in fact calling your a copier, not me man. ;)

I was just commenting on a thread.

Good luck with the new stuff you plan on releasing, I look forward to seeing your new ideas.

If you just slap a banner on a page and hurl a mass of TGP exit traffic at it, that'll happen. Analyse your traffic, filter it, funnel it, and above all go to the CE webmaster board and ask if you have a problem. I went from the same crappy conversions to a tenfold increase just by listening to Jim. He's left now, but Rowdy is doing an excellent job in his stead. CE rocks, I don't understand why people keep knocking it all the time.

The last thing we would have needed is another lawsuit happy overlord who patents hyperlinks, one-click checkout shopping. You've never been the "Norm Zadeh" type in the past. So, I'm not saying you'd be that way now. I was just it to illustrate why I was curious where it would lead.

Funny thing is that I'll be an expert witness to void his patent because we did that first. It was Doug from Dougsden that came up with the first exit console and it was used on our sites.
