Who else is stoked for this show? I think its going to be fucking awesome! I don't watch the wire yet, so I won't have to record one and watch the other. I'm happy that they haven't really changed any of the games either. The only difference is they fall into water instead of on to mats!

started watching it, NICECarbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants

I really did enjoy the show, too. If you don't have a sense of humor and didn't take it for what it is you probably didn't enjoy it, but I loved the fact that it kept the spirit and the cheese factor of the original show. It really brought back some memories, and I can't believe the original version of the show was 20 years ago
A couple of things I remembered...in the first few seasons a B movie actor named Billy Wirth was on the show and got into a brawl with Gemini, the big, black ex-marine Gladiator. I think it was during the Powerball event, and he popped Gemini in the head with a ball after the event was over, only to get tackled and pummeled.
I also brought this up on here in the past, but no one remembered who it was. The Gladiator Laser was on a bunch of the Inside Edition and Current Affair type shows in the late '80's/early '90's because he married an ex porn chick who's past he wasn't aware of, and was devastated when he found out.
