                                                                                              I've been in that situation -- it wasn't as knife attack, but someone was screaming bloody murder and I ran over (not exactly instantly) to help. I was with 3 buddies, so that maybe made it easier --but you can't sit and think that you might go to jail or the person will sue you, or even worse ... maybe they deserve it. That's a pretty disgusting mentality.

If theres a possibility to stop the fight i ofcourse would do that. If its too dangerous or whatever reason then im the first to call the cops.                                                                                                                                           He look wrecked, possibly drunk although most likely on drugs therefore a complete lack of co-ordination.

                                                                                                                                          Not to mention only being about 5ft tall with a weight of about 100-120 pounds at the most.

                                                                                                                                          If you walked up beside him and kicked him in the throat or straight in the face and hard, i don't think he's going to feel like getting up on his feet any time soon.


                                                                                                                                          Now if he was 7ft tall and 400 pounds and was waving around something bigger like a sword or a machete then yes you stand back and watch.

                                                                                                                                          There are certain times to step in and take matters in to your own hands if you can and that was one that needed taking control of.

                                                                                                                                          The woman could have been alot better off if one of the public put the boot in sooner rather then later instead of just giving him the sly kick in the side.
