so many over the years but it gets expensive. one i came close to buying but didn't want to go as high the guy wanted ending up selling for over 200k. that kind sucked.
you don't know you're wearing a leash if you sit by the peg all day..

I bought a few back in the 1990's, back when you had to fax the forms into interNIC... just wish I had bought more. It was a good investment on my earrings working in a restaurant at the time
“If you can convince the lowest white man he’s better than the best colored man, he won’t notice you’re picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on, and he’ll empty his pockets for you.”
In 1994 I bought several great 3 letter dotcoms and have since sold them for some amazing cash, but I sure wish I had picked up some others at the same time such as sex.com, men.com, dog.com and the list could go on and on.
I had a chance to register a nice short .xxx , but instead listened to most of the morons on here and missed out. It would have been a nice domain to develop.
:embarrassed:
JustTurned18.com I got it in like early 1998, and domains were like $100 still, so i dropped it on renewal...if i'd known them what i know now...
LOL!
A wasted domain now for whatever reason, but had bid fairly high for WhatsGoingOn.com and still lost.
A couple that I'm probably glad I didn't get were OnlinePoker.net and Poker.us. Not that they may not still see a rise back up, but I'd probably have been stuck holding the bag after the feds really were closing down the US poker sites, which sorta killed a lot of the poker domain value. I managed to sell Poker.in for $60,000 but not sure I could have gotten that or more for Poker.us in time.
I kinda wish I hadn't sold Dieting.org. I took a really quick amazing ROI on it but really undersold given health does well in .org.
Want to crush it in mainstream with Facebook ads? Hit me up.
I had a shot at cum.com for like 250k and missed it. The guy then sold it for 3 times that. If i still had it??? Not sure I would even be up at 250k. Looks like a whitelabel tube on it now.
why? The correct spelling is googol, not google. If the billion dollar company wasn't built up around that brand it would hardly be worth anything as a domain name.

I ended up purchasing the domain last week that I missed out on but had to pay up... At least I won't regret not getting the domain, and worry about checking this thread 5 years from now to find out its worth 500k

well I am looking at the bigger picture here, what happens if some politician decides that after taking away your guns they are going to regulate the internet. US websites will need to comply, if they made an extension meant for adult websites, you can bet they will make you use it.
yeah I have a couple .xxx domains, big fucking deal, I have a ton of .com, .net, .org, etc. I have been buying domains since 2000.
