We just had the first episode here but we're most likely behind. If that's the case then can someone tell me if someone actually finds a lot of gold this time? I don't feel like watching 10 episodes or whatever of a bunch of idiot rednecks fighting with eachother.

Dave's team has around 120 ounces
Todd's Team zero pretty much (delays and trouble with the wash plant).
Dakota Fred's Team has a modest amount. I forget exactly it's under Dave's team. They are on the way to being profitable at least.
Parker's team had a little success early on but is doing bad now. The ground is depleted almost everywhere on the family mine and one area they thought had promise had the pay dirt over 30 feet below so they could not reasonably get to it. Just recently they found a new area which at least gives them a chance.
Based on the recent teasers they are saying someone hits it big. My guess is either Dakota Fred (he claims up to 4,500 ounces is possible in three weeks if the waterfall is loaded) with his waterfall or Dave's team with the high ground area they negotiated a deal with the owner to try. It might be BS though.
If this isn't good enough for you try Wikipedia I think they have summaries up.
