      My wife is Mexican, pregnant with our half Mexican baby. Her Mexican family is staying at my place right now in Toronto, ready to help with everything that is BABY.

      I love Mexico, and plan to move there when I'm good and ready.

              Good to know, wanted to make sure.

              My take on the illegal immigrants is much the same as yours, since I live in a highly socialist country. Many immigrants here will live 10 to a house, all will apply for welfare, then all will work at hotels etc and rape our country. I would report them myself. I'm not against someone getting a job under the table, many Canadians who were born here do that. The same as a drug dealer doesn't report their income, etc. But when it's clearly abusing the system as in the above example, it's pathetic.

              However. I think you should first look at yourselves. They come for the money. Americans give them the money. If there were no jobs, there would be no money, and most of them would go home. It's a gold rush, of course they're coming.

              I also think it's crazy that if an illegal immigrant has a baby in the USA they are legally a US citizen.

              Again, must look at your own policies and police yourselves first. Can't put ice cream in front of someone and expect them to not eat it

                  Socks, speaking for myself, please keep in mind Mexico and Mexicans have nothing to do with my immigration position. Illegals of any size, shape or color do bother me.

                  Thru the course of everyday life I have met three people that were here legally and working hard to become US citizens. All three eventually returned home when all legal avenues were exhausted. The idea that system-beaters manage to live here pisses me off to no end.

                  Both of my grandfathers passed thru Ford Island legally and that's how it should be.

                                          I have a Mexican friend who visits the US legally and then goes back home. A very honorable kind of guy with class. He told me there is a huge difference in the type of Mexican who lives in Mexico (or comes here legally) and the type of Mexican who runs across the border. He pretty much said that illegal immigrant minded Mexicans are of the lowest class in Mexico, and that's why they will do anything to get out and why the Mexican government wants to get rid of them!
