When Will A Hosting Company Release Personal Info?

So we have caught our nemesis red handed...and their hosting company knows it. They have seen the stolen material and we have screencapped and taped it.

Is it necessary to obtain a court order to get personal contact info from the hosting company? Is that the only way that most hosts will release it?

We just wanna talk to the thief!

And what do we do if the hosting company does not remove the site?

The question might be... who is the host? Any host harboring thieves is somebody we should know about.. However, I would first say that you write them a thorough appeal before putting them on the boards.
