Absolutely same result both times, except the one with the crowbar broke someone's arm when he tried to block their entry. Yes, there was a gun in the house for self defense, yes, it was in an easily grabbable place, no, it was not pulled on anyone because it was out of reach and yes, it was used against us after it was found. So... personally I'll take the crowbar over a gun.
