    Where is a good place to actually learn about trading pennies?

    All of these youtube videos seem to be morons promoting bullshit clickbankesque junk

    I really like the idea of trading pump and dump pennies.. I mean to say, hell, if you find out the usual places these things are promoted... These idiots must get their tips somewhere, right? One video said these companies pay promoters .... right .. so just find out what and where they're promoted, right?

    There doesn't seem to be a way to lose money. You find a stock that's been pretty flat, it's not all that old, jump in when the promoters pick it up and then sell while there's still volume and it hasn't peaked yet

    What could go wrong?

    As an aside.. please tell me you can short pennies .... ???

                  You seem to be one of the most self destructive people on this forum. Obviously, laziness, substance abuse and immaturity combined with zero impulse control are a winning formula for gambling with penny stocks. You have all the traits of a winner.

                          the only person making money is the promoter, for everyone else it's nothing more than a gamble... probably go to a casino instead, same odds, more fun, and at least you will score some free drink/food in the process...

                                  It's pretty similar to HYIPs. You either make money or you pretty much lose it all, and you have no idea which will happen. You might think you're smarter than everyone else but you're not.

                                  My brother fell for an HYIP once, got bilked for a few grand of money he couldn't afford to lose, and the person running it was found and arrested...and it was a 17 year old kid. There's already been a 60-minutes show about a kid doing the same thing with penny stocks, cept I think he was even younger, like 14 or 15. Do you really want to be the idiot that flushed your savings down the toilet to some punk kid?

                                              Sure, but as I understand those, that's people intending to buy and hold securities touted to have some pie in the sky long term return percentages that just don't make sense.

                                                  Well, if you can find their roller coasters and go for a ride with them for a few points on the way up, how can that be bad? The only hole I can really find in this idea is getting caught long or not getting out in time

                                                  But you can only lose 100% and if you're right any decent percentage of the time you're good.. I would think

                                                  If these penny list guys really have the track record they post on their sites... which, I am doubtful of, but who knows.. damn that'd be amazing. You could just follow them and their lemmings in and then back out as soon as it moves up

                                                                              I remember reading about a $2.50/share requirement to borrow them
