                          I highly recommend getting Media Player Classic if you just want to play videos and don't care much for the other bloat.

                          VLC (videolan.org) is also pretty great though.

                                          I converted from BSPlayer to VLc (videolan.org) after they started bundling toolbars and shit with BSPlayer

                                          VLC seems to play everything without you needing much in the way of stupid codec packs and shit

                                                                                                                                      GOM Player is much better. VLC sucks when you try to jump from one scene to another on a timeline, especially when it plays WMV.
