                                            No cravings here. The trick wasn't to quit smoking, but to quit nicotine. No gum, patches or ecigs. Just cold-turkey worked best. The first 8 days were horrible, but it slowly started getting better after that. Around 3 or 4 months in, it got pretty easy.

                                                The cough will persist for at least 2 months (depending on how long you smoked for)...with some very nasty stuff coming out during that time. If it continues after that, see a doctor. Good for you! Welcome to the club of ex-smokers!

                                                                                    I'm in Seattle for the holidays and its fucking cold... want to stop smoking? go to a place where you cant smoke inside, and its rainy and cold outside... I dont even have the urge to smoke.

                                                                                    My advice is : avoid places that let you smoke and drink at the same time, or you will be smoking again.
