Great article. Love #8. We're all likely to live a lot longer than most people think.

Anyone interested in an overview of where we're headed technologically, I recommend Physics of the Future by Michio Kaku

Arguing whether the Democratic or Republican party is better is like debating which steaming pile of shit is slightly less stinky.

Do you think by the time I'm 90, my holodeck will allow me to simulate being gangraped by the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders?

title is misleading I think... most of the stuff they were showing is still in early stages, first successful tests, etc...

Awesome article! It's scary how many of these I hadn't heard about. They're all fascinating but #8 (the mice and stem cells) really caught my attention.

Do they have stem cells that will make social security and Medicare last that long?

The point with rejuvenation therapies is that it rejuvenates people. Hence, they can work and not need to go on social security.

It's all still a ways in the future, but things are happening fast.

i have stem cells stored for both my sons...hope they never need to use them..

but we are surely entering a new age where some people could begin living and being productive well over 100.

I saw it mentioned somewhere that 3D printers were going to be bigger than the internet, as far as a tech boom.

Looking at a few of the things on that list I can see why..

I have been hearing about #8 for close to 15 years as a cure/treatment for my disease. While I think it is absolutely going to happen at some point, woj is right, most likely decades away. Very cool technology though.
