i was in bed at 1:45am... what a shitty new year

so many options and i end up doing some family shit with people who i dont even know!

New Years here is like the 4th of July on speed. Everyone buys a shitload of fireworks and lights them off all day long, then at night they have a HUGE fireworks show off a barge in front of Waikiki. The beach is lined with thousands of people, its pretty cool.

Me and some buddies got on surfboards and paddled out halfway between the fireworks barge and Waikiki beach with a bottle of champagne and watched the show from the best seat in town, on surfboards with a toast. In front of us was the 30 minute fireworks show and if we turned around we saw the beach lined with people 5 or 6 people deep and thousands of camera flashes going off.

It was a pretty fun night.

Wow, Waikiki, having the sun come up while sitting on my board passing a joint on a Sunday morning. Thanks for the memory jolt.

HAHA. I wonder whats going on with that. It's never in the news anymore here. I saw his wife and daughter again shopping in Waikiki a couple weeks ago, so business can't be that bad for him.

Partied for the last 3 days at a ski house with 16 other people ( 10 of whom never met before) The other 6 knew each other and co-own the house.

Rode Quads, went sledding, drank an ocean of beer, liquor and wine, smoked until our eyes caved in and then did it all again the next day.

Fucking grade A+ time out this year

Has plans to go out but the snow here is crazy and I didn't feel like cabbing it everywhere on New Year's Eve. And for each trip a 2 to 3 hour wait for a cab. I stayed at home and had company over and partied...Woke up 6:30 am with a slight hangover....
