Been putting these strips on every thing haha, have like close to 50 feet more of the stuff on order too heh.

Very nice for mood lighting, accent, security and general lighting.

That's only 2x 6 led strips in pic, a whole 3 meter strip is as bright as a 100 watt bulb, if not more heh.

Check it out on Ebay, like $10 per 5 meters for the stuff.

they're so low wattage, a $50 solar panel kit would charge it during day too.

                LED def way to go.

I guess light bulbs are indeed banned on the entire EU

Its just the normal tungsten bulbs that are banned. I think they are bringing it in slowly, so 100w where banned first and then 60w - Not 100% sure as we have been using energy savers for years.

I used a few strips to build some LED video lights for a class project. They came out quite nice and do a great job for very little money.

haha since our camping trips inevitably involve rain-outs, a solar panel may not be as effective as hoped

I was not a big fan of the idea at first either, I thought it would look dumb like rope lights but I even put a strip under handrail going up our entry stairs and it looks really sharp.

Check it out on Ebay, like $10 per 5 meters for the stuff.
Wow that looks pretty cool... I have seen the strips around and considered buying them for something like this, but didn't know if it would work or if I would like it. Now that I see your setup, I may just go get some.

Post more pics please? (But use a tripod)
