    kicking caffeine

    I decided to give up caffeine, its the third day and I have say I feel like shit.Got flu like symptoms ,thank god the headache stopped yesterday. Has anyone else kicked caffeine and was it worth it?

    Its not that difficult though I still drink it on occassion. Ussually I go decaf but I caffiene every so often now just far from every day.

          now you are beginning to experience how powerful a drug caffeine is. caffeine withdrawal was added over the summer to some medial book of psychotic symptoms.

          anyway, it might be best to tapper off instead of going cold turkey. thats what i am doing.

              I was just reading that. It can last up to 9 fun filled days. I stopped now dont want to even touch alittle because I have been carving it big time. lol

                    take a good aspirin or Excedrin while you kick. I kicked on a fast once. now I drink 1/2 caff and love it, was total decaf for a while but the caffeine is too good to pass up. the damn stuff is actually good for you in moderation. -bmb

                        good time to quit is the new year. my new years resolution is to smoke fewer than 365 cigarettes this year. and 0 the following year.

                        don't confine yourself into a small space with your goals. always allow room for small errs and bad luck. cold turkey might put you into deeper dependence.
