Sorry but they have style and character which is very rare these days.
I like them since I've heard their 3rd (?) album, "All the right reasons". Is a masterpiece I think. Tough, firmly sounding and fast rock songs, with some beautiful ballads. Great rock music with pure power and intensity in it.
Anyone agrees with the statement that rock music is about sex? I think there's much more in rock than sex (is a good thing though
)

Here's some interesting trivia!
Did you know that Nickelback has only written one song? A few years ago they won a contest to get free studio time, and used the 4 hours to perform one very long repetitive song, which they been using ever since. Whenever they need to release a new "single" they simply slice out about 3 minutes of that original song and package it up with a new video. When they need the song to be a ballad, they just slow the song down and use Autotune to correct the voice.Comment

LOL, glad to see that. I was in a band in early 03 and we met witha label representative and played the demo. The guy goes "well its good... but if you wnat to make it, you really need to be a little more like Nickelback"

Never been a fan of their music. One or maybe two Nickelback tunes have edged the radar with me but nothing more. Whenever I've heard any of their latest stuff I've pretty much cringed.
