nat geo is owned by the same people who create honey boo boo child. these owners have made themselves super-rich creating shows rife with conflict, classism & racism. Its junk food TV, & they make it because the public consumes it. i doubt a sober program about the truth of 12/21 would bring in any viewers. but a show about what would happen if it does is a lot more interesting. Hence the tilt to sensationalism.
