So... Who's Giving or Receiving a Puppy for Xmas?

We all know your not 'supposed' to... But who's doing it anyway?

Not suggesting that they wont be loved and looked after...
Just wondering if its still common practise or not

Not if they actaully want one, and know your getting it... Just because a puppy is given at Xmas doesnt mean that it wont get loved and looked after...

Some dont, I agree... But I'd love a puppy for xmas...

I got one as an early xmas gift, schnauzer smartest little puppy Ive had. He is 8 weeks old and he already knows he cant pee/poop inside the house, so he starts crying when he needs to go outside, its pretty easy to tell when he needs to.

I also throw him a little stuffed toy he has and I tell him to bring it to me and he does, unless I throw it to far away then he gets a little scared of running off lol

I totally agree. Half the puppies that are bought or adopted this time of year eventually end up in shelters. Responsible breeders know this, and do not breed this time of year. Chances are kirupai's Schnauzer came from a irresponsible backyard breeder looking to make a profit for the holidays.
