Argument: they should have had disclaimers saying their food will kill ya if you eat too many...or they should have cut back on the % of fat in their burgers... as they knowingly putthe fat in too boost taste at the expense of the public's health.

Reminds me of when a family sued Judas Priest for backwards messages in their songs after their kid committed suicide.

They couldn't even make a good enough case using the actual lyrics of the songs, so they had to play them backward to hear the "subliminal messages". Crazy.

Of course they won. That family was looking for a scapegoat for their own fuckups where raising their kid properly was concerned. However they will not let anyone walk into the house unless I walk them in or unless they know you very well. Well one day someone walked into my house - not to rob me or anything, just to visit. When the dogs seen the door open they barrelled down the hall and the person freaked - turned around and ran smack into the wall breaking their nose - they are now suing me for damages.

I was doing volunteer work at a local county facility for children and one of the women I was working with tells me her husband is in prison, and will be getting out in June. I don't think much of it, and we work together for a few months every week volunteering. So i ask her one day why her husband is in prison, and she says to me sexual assult of a minor.

I say oh... I said it must be hard on the kids... She turns to me and says that the abuse was against the two oldest daughters. I think my mouth fell to the floor. I wasn't sure what to say.

So the other day, me and my 6 yr old twins are out walking and I notice a moving truck a few houses down from mine, and here is the women that I volunteered with was moving into one of the houses 3 or 4 down from mine. The next a day I get a phone call and another friend of mine was telling me how they were releasing a convicted sex offender into our town.

I jumped on the internet, and sure enough it is this women's husband-who just moved 3 or 4 houses down.

So tell me how fucked is the world that the America judicial system can 1st let this sick fuck go back into a community (we have 30 kids under 10 on our block) and then let him live in the same house with the girls he raped?

I can't leave my kids outside alone...

I remember that...happened up in Reno...there is an amazing documentary called "The Dream Decievers" about the case...these two kids had fucked up homes, were heavy drug users, alcoholics and jobless shiftless kids who were failing school....and the parents actually had the balls to blame Judas Priest....hell, if Judas Priest was the cause, maybe they did the kids a favor...........

My first thought in a case like this is, what the hell is the wife's problem that she is willing to take the guy back after what he did to their kids???? I don't know who's sicker, the husband or the wife.

Like I said on ICQ, grab his pic off the net (where it's posted under known sex offenders) and print out copies, and spread a leaflet around your neighborhood warning people to keep a closer eye on things.

Hopefully that fucker learned his lesson and won't do it again, but It would be pretty creepy knowing he's living a few doors away from you. No way around it.
