What notebook is it? Do you like it? I'm tired of my huge ass 17" laptop that I can't even take on a plane. It's frustrating and it's more like a really thin desktop and I'm looking to get a new one.

Not the latest and greatest, but it kicks ass.
Its been with me on 4 continents and has taken a beatin and still works like a charm. I even took it with me backpacking thru europe and it passed the hostel-life test.

Rumors are that apple are going to announce a ultra-notebook in a few weeks. Also, 'spaces' in the new OSX makes a small screen much more usable. (It's a virtual desktop thing like in Linux).Comment

I know what you mean. I had a 15 in Dell and it was really easy to lug around. Then I got a 17 in Toshiba and it's huge and hard to travel with. Now I have a 13 in Macbook and I love it! Just get an external monitor for your desk.Comment

looked around for a long time and went for a samsung q45, coming from my 15.4" to a 12.1" is quite a large difference. I don't really think a 12.1" can be used for long periods. Next one will be 14" or larger again. I can't imagine trying to do much on a 10" laptop. A slimline 14" i think would be a good size.Comment
