    Banners on the way out?

    Is it just me or are programs not putting out as much banners as they used to?

    Some have some nice hosted flash banners but most don't update this form of publicity...

    Are banners on the way out as a form of converting traffic?

      I almost never use banners. Occasionally I need to fill a sidebar or something and I will throw one in but they pull so few clicks it's really pretty pointless to use banners.
      I like pie.

          all I buy is clicked text link traffic and occasionally some popunders, only form of banner ads I currently use are 300x250 and 125x125 both for mainstream sites though

              Sheeeeit. Banners still drive traffic, over here. Typically, 300x250 or 315x300 on many RONs with pretty high CTR and join ratio. Simply, banners STILL work and won't be going anywhere for a while.

                      If anything, good old-fashioned image banners should be making a comeback with more and more people using Adblock and similar things.
