What Tube sites might do is change the Adult Internet. They might make surfers more aware they do not need to spend $30 for 30 minutes, that some sites do have great content and some have crud and most important is make the industry more customer orientated.

I may have to agree with you. Sooner or later everyone will circle the wagons and spend the time and money to cultivate their own traffic sources (if they have not done so already), and when that happens... many of you smaller guys will be looking for another job I'm afraid.

I have sat here for the best part of 7 years listening to some spout the biggest lot of BS going all designed to one aim. Getting more people to send more traffic to content that would never survive in any other form of porn. Remember I said SOME. Others do it another way.

You were boasting the Internet was closing magazines, taking DVD business and they were yesterday. Did any stop to think or be concerned about all the people they would put out of work by selling a months membership for the price of a DVD? Or even putting up free content faster then you put up content to be paid for.

But you want people to cry and stop a form of porn that will just give away more free porn than you can.

The adult industry will survive, it will change though.

No need to worry about a gallery getting a surfer off in 10 minutes and stopping him from buying a $30 membership. Less of these guys are looking at galleries any more, well not for much longer.

To compete with Tube sites you have to look to their weaknesses and WIN the surfer back. Or you have to spend a fortune suing them. I think the first option is best.

The days of spending fortunes to get traffic are coming to an end. Why? Because the number of surfers who will spend the fortune needed to support yesterdays business model are reducing.

Deliver the product for what it costs and a fair profit and you will survive. Tube sites have serious weaknesses, exploit them.

The difference for tomorrow is you won't be able to sell 30 days for $30, as easy as you could yesterday, when the surfer needs 30 minutes.

If you think send more traffic is the answer go that route and see how long you last.

Will less money be spent on porn in the future? YES, but less people will be selling it and the earnings for those left will still be good. Some here will not survive, but did you worry about the people you put out of work?

The problem is not the guys driving traffic, they are good tools and needed. The problem is the amphasis we put on traffic and the cost of it. Few industries survive when they spend 35% to 50% of their TURN OVER on marketing.
