You couldn't be further from the truth if you tried. Do you realize the amount of work involved in monetizing traffic successfully? Take us at Traffic Force, we serve 5 billion ad impressions per month, we successfully sell in the region of 3.5 billion of those per month and we have a full time employee who works on monetizing the 1.5 billion that we don't sell.
Some of his day to day duties are as follows
1. Finding offers for every country to have as a back up, cant send all traffic to the same sponsor, you have to tweak it out, make geo localized banners/landing pages
2. Working with networks who run hundreds of offers to ensure he has the best ones in place
3. Constantly changing links due to restrictions that these networks put in place
4. Ensuring we get paid (a lot harder than you would imagine)
5. Working with designers to constantly change banners/landing pages to keep up CTR
I could go on and on and on, as we grow and gain traffic, he will need an assistant. Imagine what networks with 5x, 10x the traffic would face?
