What would you do if ......

Ok your trying to help someone out and you give them some space for a design site and the following you find out is true:

1. the guy is running a tgp from the site thats supposed to be for his design only site

2. you find spamming software and the email list with over 10 thousand names on it

3. you have proof he was spamming from the site

4. you have proof he spammed his ICQ list

I helped this guy out bought him the domain name and all and all of a sudden bam your hit with spam complaints from your host.

Now I'm planning on not only taking his account from him but keeping his domain name also as he was supposed to do small design work for hosting yet that has not been done either.

The stupid part of all this is when he did the spam on ICQ he also spammed me and my girlfreind.

What would you do in this situation ??

Send him a bill for hosting and bandwidth...you gave him an
account for design site NOT for what he used it for....so he should
just pay like any other of your customers.

Report him for theft....he stole your bandwidth and spammed

If he doesn't pay the bill send bill collectors after his sorry ass.

Make sure he is not able to do any business in our industry again.

Good Luck fella this seriously sucks....you give a guy a break and
he tries to fuck you up the ass for it.....you should be pissed and
he should know it........now go get him!

E-mail every sponser about his evil ways so he don't get paid and possibly blacklisted. Redirect his site to yours so you get his traffic and out the fuck on GFY so no one works with him in the future.

After all that make sure you delete all his spam software etc you can and hopefully the world will be a better place.

If you're a tough guy then punch him in the facem if you ain't then knee him in the balls and run.

Insanemidget won't reply here however at the same timeframe that I get messaged by insanemidget in ICQ with him saying that he didn't spam he used opt in email lists which is BS because my g/f isn't on any lists and besides the fact he spammed me and my g/f on ICQ about his message board.

Now this guy SWIFT shows up and just happens to be 18 and from canada ...

I don;t believe this and wish the Adult.com crew checks swift's ip address against insanemidgets because I believe it's the same person

People who buy bargain basement designs, find out the hard way that something you pay $200 for does not usually convert worth shit, and then they usually become a client to one of us guys anyways, so it's all good !!

That sucks man. I know I've been burnt before trying to be nice and help people out. I once spent damn near 2 days trying to teach a guy how to build a good tgp gallery that would sell well in exchange for him building and submitting for me on my hosting and with my content; I came to find out after about a week that he had been changing sponsor links to his own on the galleries and thats why they weren't making any money.

Some people just don't realize that you make more money being honest and hard working then if you try to cheat someone for short term gain.

They were all bad a last weekend when they ran thier 1000 message post but now I have details and they know I can prove them they are not all that big and bad.

wonder why they are hiding from the board now ....

This can be cleared up very quickly and easily ...

Just show me where my g/f opt in to a list.

Thats all

But I know they can't and therefore they are hiding.

Guys when someone helps you in this business it's best to deal with them straight up. Or your name goes bad fast. And webmasters seem to keep logs of everything so they never forget who burned another webmaster in the past.

First off, I'd like to give my honest apoligizes to JFPDude.

What I did was a mistake and lack of knowlegde and ignorance of my actions are no excuse. I used an email list from a guy that gave me his nick "Bullseye". He apparently goes by many names. I have never sent mass mailings to anyone before this and really didn't know what I was getting in to. I was assured again and again by this guy that everything was fine and that these emails were optin and completely safe to use. I don't know much about mass mailing and still don't. This is the first time I tried it and it obvisiously did more harm then good. I will try my best to expose the guy that is selling these lists and work with JFPDude as much as possible to dispose of him. JFKDude has been great to me and he NEVER deserved anything like this, I have threatened his reputation along with others and can only hope that this is all cleared up. I don't expect forgiveness, but I do want everyone to know I messed up and was playing with fire when I didn't know it.

"Bullseye" I will not blame for my actions and lack of knowledge for what I was doing. I will however do my best to keep anyone else from getting email lists from him and prevent him from distributing this type of promotion.

Again, I offer my complete apoligizes to JFPDude and everyone that this has affected.
