I get emails from time to time, but sometimes they really touched me where I want to help out but unfortunately don't have all the money in the world.
Check it out:
Help Joe Joe!
This is the place where I adopted my two dogs from and try to do everything I can to help out animals.
Poor guy needs a surgery and once better, will bring so much happiness and joy into someones life... that and probably tear up their pillows and furniture
So, how about you pass up on one $5 Starbucks latte and donate to this guy, link is in the email.
Here is his picture:

Joe Joe has a simple Thanksgiving Wish. He would pass up the turkey and stuffing just to be out of pain and to walk and run again.
Joe Joe is a 1 1/2 year old Boxer mix whose previous owner brought him to a shelter because he traveled so much and was not home to give him much attention. And on top of that, Joe found himself on the urgent list at the shelter, meaning his life was at risk. He was in critical need and Castaway Critters rescued him several weeks ago.
Joe developed issues as soon as he came to us. He became unable to walk and depressed. Something just wasn't right! A trip to the vet and x-rays later, Joe was found to have an old metal pin in his hip that was causing intense pain.
But, Joe's situation turned even worse when it was found that he has a possible liver shunt that will need surgery as well. A liver shunt is a blood vessel that's in the wrong place. It prevents the liver from doing its job. 95% of dogs that have this situation and have surgery fully recover.
Joe is the sweetest guy. He just wants to lick your hand and hang out with you. He has lost a lot of weight through his ordeal and would like to get his life back on track and to find a loving home to call his own.
Can you answer Joe's Thanksgiving prayers and pass up one luxury of the season to give a donation for Joe's care?
