What a complete load of shit. You will never ever be able to predict sales on a day to day basis except in the broadest terms based on your existing mean and standard deviation. That's just not how statistics works. Sales have
always been a rollercoaster.
Perhaps some processors scrub harder now than they have in past years, but if traffic remains stable then sales will remain stable when averaged over a meaningful period of time.
