Starting to get closed to finished. Server stats went down. Processor is almost idle now. We just switched to the new adserver for the horizontal leaderboard ads on thehun.net. Pushing over a million banners an hour on there, half a mil on mobile. Server is idle almost. Live stats for impressions and clicks, geo targeted, keyword targeted. Can't believe how much of a speed improvement this is. And then to think I was originally considering an extra server to be able to run openX. This is much faster and takes way less resources.
Anyway, I'm looking into making this usable for others. Working on a few odds and ends here. So next up will be click stats on iframe banners (runs in beta now!) and selling CPC and CPM. Almost there! ;-)Comment

Still some odds and ends to be programmed before it could go out. Right now we're running all Ads on thehun through this. And I don't need a new server to run it. So I know I have a product in my hands that could be the base of a new company. I'll have to think it over since that takes time which is scarce... I'll keep you posted!Comment

Before you beta test, you might want to run 10-15 days worth of traffic to see if the stats slow to a crawl.

It is geo targeted, not mobile ISP targeted. That might be something to look in to.
I probably won't allow the code the be installed on another server... Don't want to have the source out in the open I think... All depends on the model I want to push this in. Most likely it'll be leased out including a dedicated server, or part of a virtual one (can easily be done with the little resources we use right now. And charge like the openX hosted, maybe a little less. I'll have to figure it out, I need support to be set up and all... Might be looking for a callaboration with a host out there.Comment

Nothing is for free, I know. Stuff doesn't always cost money, but it's never for free. Actually I've been to a lot of these shows this year. Vegas, Mallorca, Barcelona, Munich, Amsterdam, Prague. Booking Vienna for next week. Having fun!

Yes and no. It's now hosting all advertising on thehun.net as well. Running at about 20% of the resources openX was doing WITHOUT thehun.net running (that was impossible on the server we had for it)...
Development is on hold at the moment since we are doing some needed programming on the submit program (totally revamped, webmasters can tag their submissions now, as soon as we have enough results we'll start using them on the website) and there will be something new for the visitors as well, which I'll start on today or tomorrow.
Once that's all done we're going to see if we can make something commercial out of this banner rotation program. Good thing now is that I found some things in there I don't really like (stat wise), so at least I know it's perfect once we do anything with it ;-)Comment
