They are all kids, we've all done and said stupid shit as kids. The problem with the internet is the punishment for saying stupid shit is amplified to insane levels.
In the last 12 months i've had two sets of friends cop an unbelievable backlash from twitter / fb for the most ridiculous reasons ( jealousy for the most part ).

^^^I agree that some people do get a little wiser as they get older (although most stay stupid as fuck), but most of the 'kids' profiled in the link are adults, the rest are in high school. They're not children anymore, and if they were poor and/or racialized and were convicted of a crime they'd be sentenced as adults.
