ok so here is one of my favorite pics although it looks so simple but has a lot of meanings.
On the left we have Rachel Shaw of www.creativeclassdesigns.com and then the awesome Christina Muller of www.christinamuller.com (german dom of the year 2006)
Whats special is that both are a new breed of girl in the industry they are independant,proffessinal and in total control of thier own business girl power !
And guess what ! these girls had never met or spoken until the XXXBizTV gig and clinched a deal together there for Rachel to supply all Christina,s artwork,logos and other design needs for at least the next year.
Yes it was a great fun party,and yes we all met some great people,but isnt it cool beans when you can actually walk away with a deal too !

When I first came into this business 6 months ago,I attended the qwebec expo,I wasnt sure if this was the industry for a 20 year old girl who wasnt a flake and didnt want to do hardcore to enter.
I expected greasy creepy guys and such, but thought at least I would go and find out.
What did I find ?
A great bunch of young guys and girls like yourself (you where one of the first people I met)who where just the opposite of what I expected,everyone was vibrant,relaxed,and really cool.
So I can honestly say you are part of the reason that I decided to make a step into the industry.

yes Doug it was really cool news.
All I wanted was to do something different, a nice relaxed party,food,drink,some girls to chat with(no sausage feast ) and just maybe a little biz could be slipped in.
I was so worried for a week it wouldnt work I really was,I had lots of sleepless nites hoping I wouldnt look a idiot
But I feel I acheived my goal,I feel on top of the world ,and I would just like to say to everyone who attended and everyone who posted support in this thread from my heart thank you guys have a great christmas and new year and lets do it even better in 2008.
I will now let this thread end and move on with a spring in my step to a new exciting path of adventure
