Yea sadly everything he spells out in his little blog post will fall on death ears. The GOP isn't actually interested in changing, but rather will try to re-badge the same turd and try to force it on the American public in 4 more years.
Welcome to America the new one party govt. That is unless the Libertarians can pull a rabbit out of their hat, but in all honestly I suspect the Libertarian party will just get flooded with GOP ex-pats and turn into another failed Republican party.
