The funniest thing I ever had stolen was my pocket rocket. We had movers packing up our things. I forgot to take it out of my night stand before they got there, & it never made it to the new house!! LOL

Someone gave me a bottle of perfume on the last day of Webmaster Access in Amsterdam and I wrapped it up in my sweater and put it behind a couch(Sleazy Dream's TGP party) and when I came back at the end of the night, it was gone!

At the Philadelphia Folk Fest I was camping and some one broke into my tent and took the following:
- Box of pancake mix
- Silver mixing bowls
- wooden spoons to mix.
But Left behind:
- 1/2 oz of Chronic
- full bottle of Jim Beam
- 15 already rolled J's
- $200 in cash that was in the tent inner pocket.
- Keys to my truck
- Cell Phone
- Wife's diamond engagement ring that she took off and wouldnt loose.

I too do that sometimes. If I put anything of even the slightest value out back by the garbage cans it's usually gone the next day. I once sat an old broken down washing machine out there once while renovating my rental house and *poof*, gone the next day.

Strangest thing I ever had stolen from me?
My dog "Sex".
Every year for Christmas my mother-in-law demands a wish list of what I want for Christmas. One year for Christmas at the top of my list I said "More sex". (Sounds like a odd thing to say your mother-in-law but we are close and she gets my humor.) That list was in turn passed onto the rest of the family....
So Christmas comes and it turns out my sister-in-law saw this ugly porcelain dog and decides to buy it for me. She called it "Sex", so I got "Sex" for Christmas.
That damn ugly dog state on my front doorstep until one day it was just gone.

Babe Ruth autographed photo.
When I was a kid me and my friend would sell baseball cards at his mom's yearly garage sale. Each year this jerk in his 30's would come and tell us how shitty our collection was. So I decided to offer up an autographed Babe Ruth photo to increase the prestige of our little store when he came. I of course had cut the photo out of a baseball magazine and applied the signature myself and put it in an old frame.
So when the jerk showed up that year he was all business! First he tried to scam me out of it in a lop sided trade, but I told him $10,000 or nothing. Now here is where it gets interesting. The next morning the photo was gone! Then the day after that was garbage day for the neighborhood, and we saw that actual frame (now empty) sitting in a box at the curb of that guy! He was the one who stole it!Comment
