hey jimmy, thanks! it's been really tough/tiring compensating for all the stuff i didn't realise that i'd taken advantage of my lefthandedness for before. i had a minor setback with some odd swelling and bruising that concerned my PT, but we think i was just trying too hard to do things "like normal" - thinking that'd be helpful in retraining the hand. oops! i'm back to letting someone else lift simple things for me and brushing my hair.
