I am a PC girl, have never used a MAC but I am actually looking at buying a MacBook Pro for some reason. I like the design and everybody that uses Mac loves it, so maybe it is time to give it a try:-)

Artware,
Any special issues you had a hard time getting used to when you transfered to MAC? An ex. I use fireworks and photoshop, and if I understand it there are no version of fireworks for MAC. Any other software issues etc?

I'm afraid there will always be some programs that you are used to, without a Mac version available. Or a Mac version that lags behind the Windows version.
I had to find replacements for some apps, but mostly of minor importance. Like a text editor, file manager (I just need a Norton Commander alike program, this dates back to my DOS days! :-) and a program to convert videos to other formats/sizes and such. Things I don't use every day, all day long. And where I could easily find a good replacement on the Mac.
Of course this is different for every user. If you have a killer app that you are addicted to and where no Mac version exists..Comment

One thing that is irritating, though, is the fact that some key combinations are different. I noticed I kept pressing keys on the Mac that don't do anything (or not quite what I expected). And after a while I did that on Windows too, I was getting confused from using both of the OS's at the same time.
Silly, but irritating. Like pressing 'end' to go to the end of the line, or ctrl-arrow to jump one word on a line. I am fixing the confusion by going all Mac! :-)Comment
