                    I got my tattoo 12 years ago in my lower back. This is way before the "tramp stamp" era. I got it there because I remember someone telling me that the skin there stays tight even as you get older. I love my tat and most of the time no one even sees it but I feel it as a symbol of my inner strength.

                    I agree that some tats are tasteless and can just be plain ugly but who am I to judge? To each it's own.

                        It's all about the generation gap, and who's spending money at the moment. Do you see a lot of 20 year olds into nylons? No. Do you see a lot of them spending real money on porn? no. Are they from a generation where their women wore that sort of thing?
                        Five years from now (maybe a little longer), I think that tattoo's will be a lot more acceptable in porn. Porn tends to follow just a little behind social standards, but that gap is closing quickly. trends used to come back around every 20 years in dress, music, etc, but those gaps are closing as well.
                        For now, the people doing the spending (and a lot of the producing), grew up with women that didnt have a lot of ink. People emulate and gravitate to what they've fantasized about in their prime. You can often tell a persons age as easily by the porn they watch as by the clothes they wear.

                        Please keep in mind that I'm making generalizations.

And quite frankly I don't mind looking at it although I usually find myself thinking the girl would look better without all the ink....usually. You'll never see or hear me complaining about that kind of porn.

                            BUT.... for having a woman for myself I absolutely prefer a woman that has no ink, or as I said earlier maybe just one small well-done tat that isn't right out in everyone's face.

                                                                It is definately rife with them already, but a lot of people still have a stigma about it that I doubt will be as strong in a few years.

                                                                I'm in that 30 something group that sort of fell between no ink and ink crazy. If it's done tastefully, I think it can be gorgeous. I'll say that a woman with a lot of tattoo's can be a big turn on if they all sort of lend to one another and/or have a common style/theme. I suppose it's the random here and there tattoo that look thoughtless that's a turn off.

I think that there is a difference when it comes to a tattoo that a female should wear for life.
