The current Republican party is so far out of touch with what the country has become over the last 10-15 years that they will have an even tougher time taking the White House back in 2016 if they don't make some drastic moves. You could see it in every aspect up to and most visible during the results. They're completely out of touch with the parts of the country that matter in the election. Looking around the Obama gatherings you could see vast diversity and a very, very young showing. People are united in the Democratic voter base. The Republicans lack that to this day. They're fragmented. Looking around the Republican gatherings, all you see is that old establishment. Old white guys, rich people, mid-westerners, cowboy hats. The Internet and social media ages have brought together a whole new lifestyle that the Republicans do not understand. They are old money, with old, scary policies. Mitt Romney scared the shit out of the people who are critical mass in the country.

They need to be recreated if they want the White House back. I wanted to vote Republican, but no way in hell was I going to vote for that conservative, greedy, flip flopping, mormon goofball. The Republican party has no one right now that could be POTUS in 2016. The Dems have several that could be POTUS.

They better get on it, or this base grows and they get more out of touch over the next 4 years. The same shit isn't going to work any more for them.
