Motherfucking Blue Cross Blue shield....

Been with the assholes like 5 years now under a small business group plan...

They sent recertification and then told me they wont renew me as of Feb 1 2008

Eat A DICKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

Now i gotta hunt brokers and find another providerr

Yea Heath care Insurance Companies are complete bullshit. They have so many little weasel laws they have gotten through the government and all they care about is turning a big profit and denying as many claims as possible.

BCBS raised our rates by about $100 a person starting in January. And we're 2 healthy 20-30 y/o adults that rarely go to the doctor. Ridiculous. I'm checking out Aetna this very second.

Yup, quite a scam they have going. I've heard that in order to "reset" your rates you actually need to cancel your insurance for a few months and then re-apply. Not sure if it's true or not, but they are totally screwy. I hate insurance.

This is true, known a few people to do this. However if they notice or audit the account it's fraud so they will cancel you. So don't get cancer or AIDS if you do this cause if you do they will look deep, find the error and cancel your ass.

No other government in the civilised world would ever approve to kill / disable or financially ruin own citizens to save profit for a couple of huge insurance companies.

Of course the problematics is more complex but this is the most surreal thing to point out..

For more than 25 years I paid for health coverage. One claim only except for occasional prescriptions. The monthly premiums gradually rose to $533. a month until this year when Blue Cross elected to stop coverage.

Now I'm without coverage, no one wants to even consider me since I am over 50. This is the problem with US health care. A lifetime of payments has no meaning once you reach a certain age.

If you don't mind my asking, who did you switch to? I really want to get away from BCBS. I'm looking into Aetna at the moment...it seems there aren't a whole lot of options for small businesses.
